Co-Parenting Memes That Are All-Too-Relatable

Co-parenting is full of ups and downs. As you continue to build your co-parenting relationship, you’re bound to encounter some funny situations along the way. In the mean time, take a look at these co-parenting memes that perfectly describe the good, the bad and the ugly parts of co-parenting.

The Goal is Simple

Co-parenting is built on one simple goal: doing what’s best for the kids at all times. This helps kids cope and avoid many of the negative effects of divorce on kids.

Keep the Kids First

Co-parenting is all about keeping the focus on the kids. Whether or not you and your co-parent like each other, you’ve made a commitment to working together to do what’s best for the kids.

New People Bring New Challenges

Eventually, you and your ex-spouse will find love after divorce. These partners will also be involved in your children’s lives. It’s important to embrace them as co-parents, too, so that you can all work together.
I pray every night for god to bless my boys father with someone that will love my boys the same as I do and that my boys will love her too. I pray that their future step-mom and I can have a wonderful coparenting relationship like me and their father has. It's okay for my boys to love her, that's what I want!

It Isn’t Always Easy

Although co-parenting is what’s best for the kids, sharing custody of your kids with your ex-spouse means you’ll be without them for significant periods of time. This isn’t always easy, but seeing both parents is what’s best for the kids.
Sharing your little one with the other parent/caregiver is trying on the heart. A positive way to look at it is accomplishing something for yourself or setting up something fun for when you do see your little one next. We do week to week. REMEMBER do whats best for your child not yourself.

Embrace Your Alone Time

At first, it can be difficult to adjust to being alone when your kids are spending time with their other parent. Eventually, though, you will find ways to fill your time with activities you can’t do while you’re parenting.
Do what makes you happy, be with who makes you smile, laugh as much as you breathe, and love as long as you live. ― Rachel Ann Nunes

Teamwork Makes the Dream Work

A happy divorce is all about working collaboratively. Instead of competing with your co-parent, find ways to celebrate each other’s strengths.
